As featured in Westport Lifestyle Magazine, Carrie Kerner realized since having kids she missed getting lost in a good book & hosting fun events. In the summer of 2022, she launched Books on the Beach (BOTB), an elevated, all-inclusive book club for moms to mingle at sundown at Westport’s beautiful beach.

In less than a year it’s already become a highly popular monthly event in town, boasting over 120 members. To date, Carrie has partnered with some of the best restaurants + brands in town to sponsor Books on the Beach events, including but not limited to Bar Taco, PopUp Bagels, Old Mill Grocery, Norwalk Art Space Cafe, Simply Garnished, Stocked by 3 Owls and Josh Levkoff Jewelry at Collective West. Additionally, she enlisted famed local author, Jane Green, to host a book club to discuss her novel Sister Stardust.
